A new statewide survey of Republican voters likely to vote in the upcoming GOP primary reveals that the 2026 Arizona Republican primary for Secretary of State is the most consequential race that nobody has yet defined. With a staggering 77% of Republican primary voters still undecided, Secretary of State candidate Alex Kolodin holds a narrow early lead but faces a field where name recognition — not ideology — is the primary barrier to victory. For either candidate, the path to the nomination runs directly through voters who do not yet know who is running.

This poll was conducted by NextGen Polling, a right of center national consulting firm, to assess voter sentiment about the upcoming 2026 Arizona Gubernatorial general election. Two questions were asked. The first being a ballot test between Congressman Andy Biggs and Governor Katie Hobbs, and the second being between Karrin Taylor Robson and Governor Katie Hobbs.
